Tanga Briefs

A tanga sits between a Brazilian brief and a thong — more coverage at the back than a thong (a wider fabric strip rather than a string), less than a Brazilian brief. The front coverage is similar to a Brazilian. The cut sits low on the hip, usually below the natural waist.

The practical case: tangas solve the visible-panty-line problem more completely than most other cuts, because the back coverage is narrow enough not to show under fitted clothes. Under bodycon dresses, fitted skirts, or thin fabrics, a tanga usually shows less than any other cut except a thong.

The construction that matters: the back panel of fabric has to be wide enough to be comfortable but narrow enough not to show under clothes. That's a specific balance — too narrow and it becomes uncomfortable; too wide and it defeats the point. Ours are cut to sit comfortably while staying invisible under fitted pieces.

Our tanga brief collection covers lace styles (the most common — lace across the front, narrower lace or fabric at the back), silk and satin styles (for coordinated sets), and everyday styles in soft cotton or bamboo blends.

Sizing works normally — XS through 6XL. Tangas usually fit close to your everyday brief size, though people who are between sizes often size down on tangas because the fabric stretches more.
