Bralettes

A bralette is the softest end of the bra spectrum. No underwire, no molded cup, no padding — just soft fabric construction with wide straps, a wider band, and enough structure to give light shape. It's what you wear when comfort matters more than support or when you don't want to feel like you're wearing a bra at all.

The practical case: bralettes work well under loose clothes, for smaller busts where less structural support is needed, for lounging or sleeping, and for anyone who finds underwire uncomfortable. They don't give the shape or lift of a structured bra — that's the trade-off — but they also don't dig, poke, or require any adjustment.

The construction is what makes a bralette work. The band has to be wide enough to hold shape without a wire. The cup has to have enough structure — either through fabric layering or through cut — to actually contain the bust. The straps have to sit properly on the shoulder without needing constant adjustment.
