Silk Robe
Silk Robes
A silk robe is the piece that changes how a morning feels. That sounds like marketing copy, but it's actually just true — putting on a silk robe after a shower is a different experience than putting on a terry-cloth one, and once you've done it for a few weeks, it's hard to go back.
The practical case for silk robes is stronger than most people realize. Silk regulates temperature — cool against the skin in summer, holds warmth in winter — so the robe works across seasons instead of being a January-only piece. It's hypoallergenic and gentle on skin, which matters when you're wearing it right against the body. And a well-made silk robe lasts a decade or more with basic care.
Our silk robe collection covers three lengths. Short silk robes (mid-thigh, usually kimono-cut) are the ones for morning coffee, getting ready, throwing on after a shower. Mid-length silk robes hit at the knee or just below, layer well over pajamas or nightgowns, and work as an outer layer for hotel rooms. Floor-length silk robes are the piece you unpack in a hotel room and immediately feel like the trip is going to go well.
Belt detail matters. Ours have proper belts sewn at the sides so they don't fall off, with belt loops at the waist and a properly sized tie.
Care is simple: hand-wash cool or gentle cycle in a mesh bag, hang to dry, skip the dryer. Sizes XS through 6XL. Italian design, free worldwide shipping.
