Moulded Bras

Moulded bras use cups formed from a single piece of foam or fabric — no seams across the cup surface. The result is a completely smooth cup that disappears under fitted clothes, thinner fabrics, and anything where a seamed cup would show through.

The construction case: seamed cups (whether smooth or padded) have stitching that can show through fine fabrics or knit tops. A moulded cup solves the problem structurally by eliminating the seams. The trade-off is that the cup shape is fixed by the mould — it can't adjust to the bust the way a fabric cup does — which means fit at each size matters more.

Our moulded bra collection focuses on everyday wear under fitted clothes, thinner tops, and knit fabrics where seams would show. Most are lightly padded (moulded cups are almost always at least lightly padded — the mould process requires some structure) with underwire for shape and support.

Where moulded bras work: fitted t-shirts, thin sweaters, silk blouses, any top thin enough to show cup seams. Where they don't work as well: heavier fabrics that would hide any seams anyway (in that case a soft-cup or lace bra usually feels more comfortable).

Fit is essential — a moulded cup that's the wrong size can't be adjusted the way a soft cup can. Ours are graded properly across sizes XS through 6XL with attention to how the mould scales at each size.
